Let us just start this off by saying WE LOVE BACKYARD WEDDINGS. There is just something about them. This more intimate setting makes you and your guests feel more relaxed. However, you do still want it to feel like your wedding and not a family BBQ. Here are our tips and tricks for the most beautiful backyard wedding. 1. Save on a bartender and create a self serve bar.Save major money and time by creating your own bar. When cocktail hour rolls around, let guests mingle and pour their own wine or grab their own beer. Use this as an opportunity to create something beautiful. Make it fun and set it up with you mom or bridesmaids! Want to save on decorations too? Try getting your florals from Costco or Trader Joes. They have a gorgeous, professional looking selection. You can really save on a florist by doing this! You can also avoid hiring a caterer and wait staff by making your own charcuterie board. People love a good charcuterie board, trust us. 2. Have live music for your guests.
3.Write up your own timeline for the wedding.Save money and skip on hiring a coordinator. Create a timeline for your vendors so everyone is on the same page throughout the day. For example, say at what time you want to do photos, first look, cake cutting, first dances and everything else! Your MC for the night will announce the flow of events. If you do not have a coordinator, make sure you assign someone as your day of contact for your vendors. This way, they can come to them with all their questions instead of the bride. We think backyard weddings are the way to go. Not only can you save money, but you can also have a lot more fun. There is less to worry about which allows you to switch your focus to what really matters.
